Ane Arrieta

My name is Ane Arrieta and I am a lover of all things movement!  I have been a dancer since I was able to walk and always have had a strong interest in the human body as my father was a professional athlete turned physical therapist.

My Pilates journey began when I was in my undergraduate program getting my BFA in Ballet Pedagogy at The Hartt School Conservatory. Under the mentorship of Katrina Hawley I learned how important Pilates is as a cross training tool for dancers. From there I decided to further my education and recieved my comprehensive Pilates Certification from Polestar Pilates with Katrina. Since 2018 I have been a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher through NPCP and have taught at numerous Pilates studios in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York City! I currently teach Pilates for pre professional dancers at the Martha Graham School and have recently also become a certified pre- and postnatal Pilates instructor. I am passionate about helping people move through all stages of life. As a teacher, I seek to help people feel confident in their bodies and move because it feels good!

I am currently a full time dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company and also dance with Buglisi Dance Theatre.
