Talese Hunt

Hi everyone! I’m Talese. I began Pilates training after my first season with the Radio City Rockettes in 2007 as a way to strengthen and prolong my professional dance career. My eyes were opened on the first day of training as I learned about my transversus abdominis and I thought, ‘I’m a professional dancer and I have not been using my abdominals correctly! I must know more…’

I truly fell in love with Pilates when I realized it made all the activities I love feel easier and better. I grew up in the Utah mountains enjoying outdoor activities like snowboarding, hiking, and waterskiing. Lately I am especially excited about the benefits Pilates has in calming and restoring the nervous system to help us heal from chronic stress.

I’m passionate about helping you achieve your own goals with Pilates, whether that’s to improve your athleticism, to play without pain, or just feel better in general. I'm trained to work with pre & post natal clients, post-rehabilitation from surgeries and injuries, aging populations, and athletic training. My greatest reward is helping you be your best you--to recognize and celebrate the body you have today, tomorrow, and throughout the life you want to create for yourself.

I got my certification in 2009, and In 2012 became an Instructor Trainer for STOTT PILATES. I've loved traveling to train future instructors throughout the USA, Japan, and Korea. My favorite place to be is at home in Queens with my husband Greg. I’m so excited to meet all of you Pilates People!”
